sure Y x

053114_Post

I know it's unbelievable.

I think you would call this some kind of preface, but I'm not sure.

I'm actually trying to proofread this and correct it.

I made 8 unusual pieces of sculpture and a voodoo trigger. These were all intended to stay inside of the state of Texas. They had distinct meanings and a distinct purpose. They are no more.

_____

I truly hope I can peal this one off and get it delivered today.

At the beginning of the month I had this grand idea that I would give you every image and film I made in the mouth of May 2014.  I then got sidetracked with other art projects and shall we say things came apart.

There is a distinct reason for this, I can explain.  I'm making artwork that I plan to give away, not for self-promotion or money.  I only demand one thing, I get to control the time and the place and method in which the artwork is to be abandoned by me.

Once this is done I walk away from the artwork, I am done with it.

If the artwork is on a tight timetable, it has to be delivered in a specific and precise way.  Timing is very important.  If I'm unable to (let go of the artwork within its parameters) then something else will happen to the artwork.

Any number of things could've happened, I had intended to take the artwork across the river into Oklahoma and let them have a field day with it. This idea was very appealing because I could change the method of the symbolism I was incorporating into the artwork.

Originally I was going to fire a gun in an old cemetery.  This was not a real gun but a metaphor gun, specifically a plastic bottle of fresco that isn't really Fresca.  Since we're dealing with artwork I want to let that one malfunction malfunctioning.

Texas had essentially sent a trip man to foil my artwork.  So the artwork was dismissed and not delivered.

I call IT “The Great Texas FUCK UP!!”

I rolled the thing around in my head and sought counsel with the spirits.
We all agreed, I needed 2 hours by myself where I could contemplate what to do with this solidified voodoo.

I had to have 2 hours in a place where I would not see cars and I would not stand a chance of running into another human being. I also knew it couldn't be done in Texas.  I took the fastest and most direct route out of the state of Texas and then took the back roads of Oklahoma.  Astonishingly I had traveled more than 183 miles when I realized I wasn't going to find any solitude.  All in all I would travel some 250 miles not defined any solitude.  (Yes I see the malfunction but I enjoy it.)

The spirits had told me that this was going to happen.

They said I would not find piece on either side of the river, no matter how hard I might try.

They were right!

So the material went up in smoke in a place not of my choosing.

That was then and this is now so let's get to the ‘now what’ things.

My artwork got consumed in a binary malfunction.  I was able to recover some of the artwork but it lost all of my timestamps.  I've also lost the considerable organization of the material that I'd spent years on.

Before the artwork was destroyed, 8 unusual sculptures and an ignition switch.  I recovered a piece of artwork that literally jumped into one of the pieces of sculpture.

I recovered this clip of an old film that I had used to incorporate certain dynamics within my artwork.  That's when I realized how sophisticated diesel sculptures were.

I'm now going to give you the 1st (5:28) of the film.

Now let's insert the remnants of images and then will move into the land of applied codecs!

That's right kids were going to leave the land of artwork and jump into the world of code.

This is a bit of sleep in code from an e-mail I received in December of last year, 2013. I know it was coded when I received but I chose not to interact with it because I didn't have time.

Now that artworks taken a backseat I was able to go back and track where the code came from.

It ended up being kind of a racing event. It also ended up about being about talking hands, so to speak.

Now something unpleasant raises its head and I must confess something to you.  I can't read or write very well. Which gets back to voice recognition which gets back to the square go.

I can't write something on both of my hands and then image the thing so I chose to make one hand clapping.

Yes the images Alyssa pointing I said yes the image is a little bit disappointing but what can I say.  And for all of you people trying to keep up with the metadata I'm doing everything I can to give you as much metadata as I can.

So I don't know how to spell the word quiet..  And I'm having difficulty tracking word into typing this thing for me.

So I do a trick of using the word in a title or perhaps in a unique saying.

This seemed to be appropriate, especially if you knew I get another malfunction.  I saw the movie last night, that I'd seen before.  Something interesting happened, I jotted myself a note on the back of an insurance envelope.

Then I miss read what the envelope said this morning.  I thought it said Hemingway but I now know it was harmony. Which gets back to guitars and broken necks and what's on my front porch.  Now some of you would call it a back porch but from my perspective it's actually the front porch.  It's the one that faces the water. It will see a lot of wood products on the wooden deck. One such item would be a Harmony sovereign electric guitar, hollow body.  Look at the neck, you'll see that it is a patchwork from a mistake I made some time ago.

Essentially I was practicing my guitar, late at night, late guitar down beside my bed, and woke up late the next morning and bolted out of bed only to step right on top of the guitar and break it's neck.

You have any idea how long ago that happened!  A long time!

Anyway were going to correct all of these things.

Is going to appear that I'm jumping around but actually this is flowing a logical pattern.

All Quiet On The Western Front

Tjaden is the only member of the 2nd Company to feature prominently in both books. The book begins a few weeks after the end of All Quiet on the Western Front. Its most salient feature is the main characters' pessimism about contemporary society, which, they feel, is morally bankrupt because it has allegedly caused the war and apparently does not wish to reform itself.

______

Below from the film script, JUNO            written by  Diablo Cody

MARK:            What do you play?

JUNO:            I rock a Harmony.

MARK:            (holding back a chuckle)
                      Oh.

JUNO:            What? I'm a pawnshop rocker.

MARK:            Sorry. I swear I'm not a gear snob.

Juno turns the guitar over, examining it closely.

JUNO:            What is that, Mahogany? What happens if you crack the neck?
